'This is the cycle of ceramic sculpted figures inspirated by women selling at the stalls at the old vegetable market in Krakow. Women very strong, firm, sometimes even rapacious, with baroque shapes under layers of clothing, surrounded by bunches of vegetables and other eatable goods. They laugh loud. The firs one - a bit mean but smilling - wore a skirt with the stripes characteristic to Lowicz culture, others are not quitely form Lowicz not necessarily from Krakow, but the Title has reminded.
